Privacy Policy
Short version: the tools run in your browser, nothing you type is sent to a server, and the site sets no cookies of its own.
What we collect
Wurdler Wordlab has no accounts, and no personal information about you is collected or stored. There is no sign-up, no email capture, and no analytics installed; the site does not run Google Analytics or any other tracking of your activity.
Every tool on this site runs entirely client-side, in your browser. The words you type into a tool and the text you paste into the Word Counter are processed on your device and are never transmitted to a server. There is no server-side copy of what you type.
What is stored on your device
One exception, and it is yours, not ours. The Word Jumble game saves your best streak in your browser's local storage, under the key wl_jumble_best_streak. That value stays on your device, it is never sent anywhere, and it is removed when you clear your site data or browser storage. No other tool stores anything.
The site itself sets no cookies of its own.
Third parties
Two third-party services are used to run the site, and each is governed by its own privacy policy:
- Google AdSense. Where advertising appears on the site, it is served by Google AdSense (pagead2.googlesyndication.com). AdSense may set cookies to serve and personalise ads. Google's policy for this is set out at Google's Ads Policies, where you can also manage your ad settings.
- Google Fonts. The Inter typeface is loaded from Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com).
Links to other sites, for example the word tools at wordvault.site, are not covered by this policy, and their privacy practices are their own.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the change will be posted on this page. Questions can be sent to hello@wurdler.com.
